Past Projects
dartmouth - colonsay, kingswear
This was a superb conversion of one of Kingswear’s last remaining original colonial villas into three magnificent apartments with landscaped gardens. Inside the traditional exterior, these unique 2 bedroom homes provide every modern comfort and convenience, whilst retaining many fine original features.
Next door is a new build 4 bedroom contemporary house set on 3 floors with a highly modern design approach which allowed for large open spaces.
All four homes have simply stunning views of the River Dart and Dartmouth Castle.

dartmouth - Pomeroy, kingswear
Set into the hillside, this highly contemporary home steps down on three levels giving all living spaces beautiful views of the River Dart and Dartmouth Castle.
Large windows and a top-lit entrance stairway let the light flood into this delightful and imaginative home. A private courtyard, sun terrace and landscaped gardens provide contrasting external spaces.
All four bedrooms are en-suite, and the magnificent open-plan kitchen and living area are designed to maximise the unique setting of this property.

Salcombe - combehaven
Totalling seventeen houses, this new build scheme was the largest and most important development Salcombe had seen for two decades.
It comprises three “Villas” which reflect the local Victorian vernacular, set round a landscaped brick paved “courtyard”.
The apartments and houses are an imaginative, contemporary re-interpretation of traditional design in a setting of tranquil privacy, which enjoy delightful views across the estuary towards the rolling hills beyond.

Salcombe - The sanctuary
Three beautifully designed, luxurious contemporary 3 & 4 bedroom houses were converted from a former Baptist Chapel, located in the very heart of Salcombe with direct views over the harbour and Kingsbridge Estuary.
The conversion was seen as a design opportunity to create innovative use of double height spaces and structural glass walls, which allowed the light to flood in. Natural wood floors, slate, stainless steel, granite and limestone reflected the high quality materials used. This was a truly unique design led opportunity.

Sherborne - The Old Green
A sensitive conversion of Grade II listed buildings in a conservation area to eight elegant town houses.
The Old Green has a colourful history. In 1750 it was famous as The Angel Inn, a major stopping place along the lengthy coaching routes from London to Exeter and Weymouth to Bath. It was given to Sherborne School in 1929 by Lord Iliffe.
The houses range from an intimate two-bedroom property to a grand four bedroom town house with a formal panelled drawing room. The classical Georgian elevations were retained and some of the properties have extensive views over the honey coloured stone town and countryside.
Project managed for, and a joint venture with Ash Mill Developments.
Tavistock - Parkwood Road
2, 4 & 6 Parkwood Road are early Victorian town houses.
All three properties underwent a comprehensive and sensitive refurbishment programme. Careful attention was given to retaining many of the original features such as window shutters, fireplaces and ornate plasterwork.
The properties formed the entrance terrace to a new development of six town houses.

Thurlestone - Homefield
Five country cottages and three detatched houses in this famous picturesque Devon village.
The development occupies the unique position of the former Homefield Farmhouse Dairy.
Great attention was paid to the character of the properties. Rendered walls with soft, rounded corners, nautral slate roofs and quality joinery reflect the style of other properties in this delightful South Hams village. Internally, the cottage style continues with deep, splayed window reveals and natural hardwood doors.

Wells - Anseres Place
This conversion of a Grade II listed hotel building and former coaching house is in a conservation area at the heart of this historic city.
Anseres Place epitomises sensitive restoration bringing all the modern creature comforts to the discerning home owner whilst at the same time preserving the integrity of the past.
Twelve apartments and houses plus eight new build houses follow the lines of the old “burgage” plot. This provides a series of landscaped linear courtyards, with most houses having their own stone walled private gardens.
